Privacy Policy

MC Sports Analytics is operated by MCBETS SPORTS, LLC ("we", "us"). This policy covers the website at mcsportshq.com, the MC Sports Discord server, the MC Sports Analytics Discord app (the "bot") that runs in that server, and our Instagram accounts, including the automated replies sent by our Instagram app ("MC Sports HQ Poster"). It says what we collect, why, who it is shared with and how long we keep it.
What we collect

What the bot does not do
- It does not read, store or analyse the text of messages in the server. It acts only when a member tags it, uses one of its commands or presses one of its buttons.
- It does not keep bet slip pictures. A picture is read once and not stored.
- It does not send marketing direct messages unless you asked for them by pressing a button, and every direct message carries a Stop DMs button that is honoured.
Who it is shared with
We do not sell personal information. We use service providers to run the service, and they receive only what they need to do that:
- Whop: memberships, sign-in and payments. We never see or store your card details.
- Discord: the server and the bot run on Discord.
- Netlify: hosts the website and the bot's storage.
- Anthropic: reads bet slip pictures for the bot, and writes MC Chat's answers. A picture or a question is sent to be answered; we do not send your name or email with it.
- The Odds API: supplies sportsbook prices. It receives no personal information.
- Google Analytics: website usage measurement.
- Beehiiv: sends our emails.
- Meta (Instagram): our Instagram accounts and the app that reads comments on our posts and sends the direct messages you request.
Links to sportsbooks and other sites take you to services we do not control. Their own privacy policies apply once you are there. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Bet slip records (the bets read from a slip, the related IDs, and who pressed the button under it): up to 30 days, then deleted.
- Bet slip pictures: not kept.
- MC Chat questions and answers: not stored by us after the answer is shown, except the monthly question count and any play you post to the members' slips.
- The how-you-found-us cookie: 30 days in your browser; the source saved with a purchase is kept with our sales records.
- Instagram comment records (the comment ID, your username, the keyword and when we answered): up to 90 days, then deleted. We do not keep the text of comments that did not contain a keyword.
- Direct-message conversations with the bot and button presses: kept while your conversation is open and for as long as we need them for support and reporting.
- Account and membership information: for as long as you have an account with us, and afterwards as needed for our records and legal obligations.
Your choices
- Press Stop DMs on any direct message from the bot to stop them.
- Use /slips off in the server and the bot will not read a bet slip picture on your posts when another member tags it. /slips on allows it again.
- Turn notifications off in your browser or device settings, and unsubscribe from emails with the link in any email.
- On Instagram, don't comment the keyword if you don't want the message, and you can stop messages from us at any time in Instagram's settings.
- Ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing the address below. We will answer within 30 days. Instructions for Instagram data are on our data deletion page.
Age
The service is for adults aged 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date.
